“Business owners should not be punished when a business fails, instead as a nation we need to encourage entrepreneurialism and innovation.”

“Insolvency”, “bankruptcy”, “restructure” and “liquidation” are often treated as dirty or scary words. Hayden has a strong belief those words are not negative, but rather positive, that they’re mechanisms to allow people to get a fresh start. Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) are the lifeblood of Australia, employing 70% of Australia’s labour force. As a nation we need to encourage SMEs to operate. However, it is inevitable that some SMEs fail. Business owners should not be punished when a business fails, instead as a nation we need to encourage entrepreneurialism and innovation.

Hayden’s insolvency expertise can allow people to enjoy a fresh start without the burden of a business failure or personal debt hanging over their heads. Insolvency, at its core, is the legislation designed to encourage SMEs to operate and for people to take chances. If you or your business is currently suffering from financial distress, Hayden would love to explain what the options on the table and bust some of the myths that makes the word “insolvency” scary. After all, with a bit of understanding the scary can seem mundane.
