Jirsch Sutherland is proud to announce several promotions in our team across Australia. There have been three promotions in the Sydney office, two in the Perth office and one in the Brisbane office.
Managing Partner Sule Arnautovic says the new positions reflect the team members’ commitment, expertise and successful client service. “Not only that, their success reflects the firm’s investment in our staff and our growth on a national basis. We take great pride in seeing our team members grow personally and professionally,” he says.
In our Sydney office Amanda Young, who has been with Jirsch Sutherland for 13 years, has been appointed partner. Amanda is a Registered and Official Liquidator and has specialist experience in business recovery, reconstruction, insolvency and liquidation and is known for her technical expertise and strong commercial sense.
Michael Chan has been appointed Principal of Jirsch Sutherland in Sydney. He has been with Jirsch Sutherland for 15 years and specialises in corporate insolvency and personal bankruptcy.
Also in the Sydney office, Kathryn Gesilva has been promoted to Manager. Kathryn has been with Jirsch Sutherland for five years and specialises in corporate insolvency.
In our Perth office (WA Insolvency Solutions), David Hurt has been appointed Partner. David has practised in the business recovery, reconstruction and insolvency related area for more than 30 years. His experience covers a broad range of industries across both corporate and personal business recovery / insolvency matters.
Jimmy Trpcevski has been appointed Principal of WA Insolvency Services. He has over 14 years’ experience and specialises in both personal and corporate insolvency. In addition, Jimmy has received his Trustees and Liquidators registrations this year.
“With five registered Liquidators and four Trustees in Bankruptcy, no other firm in Western Australia has this many Registered Liquidators or Trustees in Bankruptcy,” says Jimmy.
In Jirsch Sutherland’s Brisbane office, Des Byron has been named Manager. Des has been on board for four years and has come up through the ranks, starting in the Newcastle office, before moving to Melbourne and now Brisbane.
